Holiday/Peak
Season
All
Pets with boarding reservations for Holidays (Thanksgiving,
Christmas, Easter or other major Holidays) or during times of
peak demand, will be charged for all days reserved. Holiday
Rates, (An Additional $1.00 Per Day is added to Regular Daily
Rates, see above). Holiday Rates are in effect for the entire
Holiday period. Example: Christmas Holiday period usually runs
from December 20 - January 3 or 4th. This is the time we consider
as a Holiday. Our reservation cancellation policy for Holidays
is different from our normal cancellation policy. Peak Season
rates vary by periods of high demand (ie Memorial Day - Labor
Day). Please see our Cancellation Policy
page for details. If you would like the specific dates for Holiday
rates over a specific Holiday, please call our offices and we
will be more than happy to provide the dates Holiday rates are
in effect.
Discounts
Multi-Pet Discount
Discounts
are determined by the number of pets staying in the same
run. Unfortunately we have found that it is not hygienic to
board over three (3) pets in the same run. Larger pets (over
30 lbs.) are limited to 2 pets per run. Unfortunately, as you
can imagine it is no less expensive for our facility to care
for multiple pets housed in different runs. Our expenses are
based on the amount of labor, facilities usage, and to a very
small extent the amount of food used per pet. Wakefield Kennel
reserves the right to determine if pets housed in the same run
are suited for multi-pet boarding accommodations.
If your pets are extremely active, or messy, it is not to their
benefit to house them together -- regardless of the financial
advantage to the owner. It is our mandate to keep your pet(s)
healthy while they are in our care. Overcrowding, (boarding
too many pets together) is an invitation to health problems
which we here at the Kennel make every effort to avoid. We appreciate
your understanding and hope that you will agree with our concern
being placed on health & cleanliness.
Long
Term Discounts
LONG
TERM (OVER 14 DAYS) STAYS will receive a discount of $1.00 per
day per dog and will receive free play time each third day beginning
the third day of the pet's stay. If a pet is scheduled to stay
14 days or more and stays less the discount will not be received.
FAMILY
PLAN: If you have a number of pets (i.e.: four or more dogs
cats or a combination of the two, please consult an attendant
for special "Family Rates".. Thank You.
